The Khurd story

Our Atelier

Tiny forms,
made with intention.

Khurd is a Pakistan-based microcrochet atelier creating botanical jewellery and keepsakes from fine thread. Every piece is shaped slowly by hand, one small stitch at a time.

Inspired by flowers, leaves, and the quiet details found in nature, our work celebrates a scale that invites you to pause and look closer. No two handmade pieces are ever exactly alike, and that is part of their beauty.

Small in scale. Personal by nature. Made to be kept.

Why microcrochet?

A slower, finer
kind of craft.

Microcrochet uses exceptionally fine thread and smaller hooks to create forms that feel light, intricate, and quietly expressive.

The process asks for patience. Each loop is placed by hand, and every curve develops gradually. It cannot be hurried, and we would not want it to be. That slowness gives each piece its character, texture, and human touch.

Made by hand

From the first loop to the final fastening, every Khurd piece is made individually in our atelier. Slight variations in shape and stitch are natural marks of the hand behind the work.

Care

Keep your Khurd
piece close.

To preserve your piece:

  • Keep it dry and avoid perfume, oils, and prolonged moisture.
  • Store it flat in its box when not in use.
  • Avoid pulling or catching individual loops.
  • Use a clean, soft brush to gently lift light dust.
  • Handle metal findings carefully and avoid placing heavy objects on top.

With gentle care, your piece can remain part of your story for years.

Made slowly. Worn often.
Kept for longer.
